Terms of use

Last updated 6 October 2026

These terms cover the Trove apps for iOS and Mac, and this website. They are an agreement between you and The React Native Rewind (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using Trove, you agree to them.

The service

Trove lets a circle keep its shared tasks, and gives each member a list of the tasks assigned to them across the circles they belong to. We may change, pause, or withdraw parts of the service. If we discontinue it, we will say so on this website.

Accounts

You need an account to use the apps. Give us accurate name and email details, and keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us at support@thereactnativerewind.com if you think someone else is using it.

Your content

You keep the rights to the tasks, notes, and files you add. You give us permission to host that content, to show a circle’s tasks to the members of that circle, and to show you the tasks assigned to you on your list. That permission lasts for as long as the content stays on the service, and for a short time afterwards while backups are replaced.

You are responsible for having the right to upload what you upload, including photos and videos of other people.

Acceptable use

Do not:

  • break the law, or ask Trove to store anything illegal
  • upload content you do not have the right to share
  • try to view or change a circle you are not a member of
  • invite people in a misleading way, or scrape the service
  • interfere with the app, the database, or anyone else’s account

We may remove content or close an account that breaks these terms.

Other people in a circle

When you put something in a circle, the other members of that circle can see it. When you invite someone, you are offering them that access. You do not get access to circles you have not joined, and members of one circle do not get your other circles.

The App Store and the Mac App Store

If you download Trove from Apple, Apple’s own terms cover the download, and any payment Apple processes. Apple is not a party to these terms and is not responsible for the app or for the content people put in it. Questions about Trove come to us, through the support page, not to Apple.

Availability

We provide Trove as it is available. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, that a task will notify you, or that you will never miss something because it lived in a list. Keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profits, lost data, or other indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of Trove. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under the laws of England and Wales, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Ending use

You can stop using Trove at any time. Delete your account in the app under Account, then Delete account. If you cannot open the app, write to us from the support page. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. The sections on your content, acceptable use, and liability still apply to anything that happened before the account ended.

Changes

If we change these terms, we will update the date on this page. Continuing to use Trove after the date changes means you accept the new terms. The current version is always on this page.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, except where the law gives you the right to bring a claim somewhere else.
